Yes. All residents must obtain a license for dogs six months and older. Please fill out and submit the application with a copy of the dog's vaccination record to the City Clerk. The license fee can be paid on the online Easy Pay portal or in person at the City Hall window. Each licensed dog will be issued a tag, which must be worn at all times when off of the owners' premises. Licenses expire May 31 every year.
Yes. All dogs must be leashed within city limits when outside of the owners' premises. Dogs can roam and play off-leash inside the 1.2-acre Osage Beach Lowe's Bark Park at City Park.
No, but we urge pet owners to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered. Per city code, females in heat must be contained so that they do not come into contact with another animal except for planned breeding. Females in heat are not allowed at the Osage Beach Lowe's Bark Park.
Dogs six months and older must be vaccinated for rabies (hydrophobia) by a licensed veterinarian. The veterinarian will issue a dated certificate as proof of vaccination that owners will submit with the pet license application.
