No. Only public, city-owned streets marked with green signs will be plowed. Private roads marked with blue signs will not be plowed.
The City works to clear roads by priority. Priority 1 roads are main roads like Osage Beach Parkway and Passover Road. Priority 2 roads are lower-volume roads such as in residential areas. View our map to see how your road is classified.
The Missouri Department of Transportation plows highways (54, 42, D, KK, and One-way Coupler) and bridges (KK, Nichols, Case, Grand Glaize, Passover and Osage Beach Parkway).
Residents can submit a service request through the Fix It Form or by contacting Public Works at (573) 302-2020 during regular business hours.
Make sure that the streets are free of any obstacles or vehicles. While not legally required, removing items like vehicles, basketball hoops and trash cans is helpful.
Windrows are snow piles left at the mouth of the driveway. Although these can't be avoided, residents can minimize the problem by clearing a 15-foot area of the curb line in advance of the drive. The Missouri Department of Transportation shared a video on the best way to do this. The City unfortunately doesn't have the staff to remove windrows from every driveway. Residents are responsible for clearing their own windrows.
