What You Need To Know...

Failure to Appear

If you fail to appear in court as ordered, the court will issue a warrant for your arrest and you can be jailed and/or fined. This applies to summons to appear through charges and subpoenas as well.

Name and Address

Do not use nicknames or an alias. Use the same spelling as listed on documents related to the case and ensure spelling on the documents is correct. If they are not, please advise the court of the correct spelling.

Provide the court with your current address

Dress Code

Any person appearing in court will be dressed in appropriate attire consistent with professional standards and the dignity of the court. Inappropriate attire may result in a person not being permitted to proceed before the court until corrections in attire are made to the reasonable satisfaction of the court. The following articles are deemed as inappropriate:

* No hats or caps                                 * No tank tops or tube tops                 * No shorts above the knee

* No offensive or vulgar apparel          * No sagging pants                             * No revealing clothing

All persons will present themselves in a clean and professional manner.

What to bring?

If you have the following items, bring them with you to court:

Proper identification (driver's license, passport)

Your copy of the citation or court documents received from the court

Any receipts regarding your case (i.e., bond receipts, cash bail receipts, etc.)

Any documents which prove compliance with the judge's orders and/or sentencing

Payment of Fines

The Court accepts all forms of payments; however, credit/debit cards will be subject to a service charge collected by the Courts credit card processing vendor.
