Can I set off fireworks in Osage Beach?
Displaying, selling, discharging, or manufacturing of fireworks is prohibited within the City limits of Osage Beach. However, a permit may be obtained from the City to allow discharging of fireworks within the City limits. The permit will specify the date, time, location, property owner, and responsible party to conduct the display.

City applications for a firework permit are processed by the Chief of Police, issued by the City Clerk, and are required to be submitted at least seven (7) days in advance of the date of display. Application may be downloaded from the website or picked up at City Hall from the Office of the City Clerk.

PRIOR to applying for the City Fireworks Permit, a permit from the State Fire Marshal or the Osage Beach Fire Protection District (OBFPD) must be obtained and a copy provided with the City's Fireworks Permit Application. For more information contact theOBFPD.
