Public Works will begin its Annual Leaf Pickup Program on Monday, November 16th on the west end of the City in the Swiss Village area.
This year the City has added the option of using biodegradable bags. Bagging leaves assures that they won’t blow back into your yard before the trucks are able to get them picked up. Citizens may pick up bags FREE OF CHARGE from Public Works or City Hall or purchase them at area home centers. Place bags at the curb or the end of your drive, give us a call, and we will pick them up! Only biodegradable bags will be taken. No other yard waste will be accepted.
Trucks will continue to vacuum leaves on City owned streets; however, the use of the biodegradable bags is highly encouraged.
