On January 29, 2025, at 2:32 a.m., Osage Beach police officers responded to an alarm at Oak Star Bank, located at 5127 Osage Beach Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unoccupied Ford pickup truck with a chain attached to its bumper. The bank's ATM had been forcibly opened, and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. Further investigation revealed that the truck had been stolen locally.
Surveillance footage showed a second vehicle involved in the crime, later identified as a Hyundai Tucson. A search of the Flock License Plate Reader (LPR) system identified a Hyundai SUV with Minnesota license plate KMH808 traveling through Eldon on Highway 54 toward Osage Beach before the burglary. The vehicle, a rental from Enterprise Leasing in Missouri City, Texas, was due back on January 29 by 1:00 p.m. and was registered to Monique Richardson from Missouri City, Texas.
Osage Beach detectives worked to figure out the travel path of the vehicle and discovered that it had passed another LPR near Pryor, Oklahoma. That's when detectives began alerting law enforcement agencies along the Highway 69/75 corridor to be on the lookout. Officers in Durant, Oklahoma, later spotted the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The suspects fled but were eventually apprehended.
A search of the vehicle uncovered several items, including $47,315 in cash. Investigators confirmed that $11,440 of the recovered money had been stolen from Oak Star Bank in Osage Beach.
The suspects were identified as:
- Tyrese D. Holloway, 24, from Houston, TX
- Augustus C. Sherman, 24, from Houston, TX
- Mylek M. Freeman, 24, from Missouri City, TX
- Christopher Delasbour, 26, from Missouri City, TX
Probable cause statements were filed with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, and warrants were issued for all four individuals. They face charges of stealing over $750 and stealing a motor vehicle, with no bond set. The suspects are currently being held at the Bryan County Jail in Durant, Oklahoma.
The Osage Beach Police Department’s investigation remains ongoing, with updates to follow as new information becomes available.
