Court appearance requirements

• For certain traffic-related citations, you may be eligible to sign a Waiver of Appearance, Waiver of Rights, and Plea of Guilty form (PDF). By signing this form, you waive your right to a trial and enter a plea of guilty, which means your appearance in court will not be required. 
• A ticket serves as a citation to appear in the Municipal Division of Osage Beach. Failure to appear at the time specified on the citation may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.
• Eligible traffic citations must be paid before the court date. Otherwise, you must appear in court on the date specified to avoid a potential warrant for your arrest.

Charges requiring Municipal Division Court appearance

• ANY charges involving drinking.
• ANY charges involving drugs.
• ANY charges involving an accident.
• Driving while suspended or revoked.
• Exceeding speed limit by 26 mph or above. 
• Other charges or code violations as ordered by the court.

Providing Proof of Insurance

If you were unable to provide proof of insurance and you have valid insurance, you can email it to the Municipal Division. Please include your name, phone number and the citation number in your email.
