  • ◦Osage Beach's Parks and Recreation is fully funded by City Sales Tax. No special taxes exist for parks and recreation.
  • ◦The City of Osage Beach purchased 92 acres from Ameren UE in 1998, formerly a fish hatchery, for what is now known as the Osage Beach City Park.
  • ◦The Osage Beach City Park Master Plan was completed in 2000 blueprinting the layout and construction of a 92 acre premier park destination. Many items are still to be constructed per the plan; for example, a lake side boardwalk, Missouri State Park connected hiking trails, a swim beach, and additional playgrounds and pavilions.
  • ◦The City has invested more than $6 Million into the Osage Beach City Park since 1998.
