Fred Catcott is a retired U.S. Navy, Master Chief Petty Officer. He served in the Navy from 1971 to 2000. The Navy trained him as an Advanced Hospital Corpsman which allowed him to provide medical care while serving on the USS Reeves, USS LaSalle, 3rd Marine Division and several Naval Hospitals. Fred’s last duty stations included the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island, the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Washington DC , and the Enlisted Personnel Management Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Fred is an active member of the local Elks Lodge and is on the Board of Directors at Harbor Point Yacht Club in West Alton, MO. He works as a Realtor and enjoys boating, classic cars and golf in his spare time.
Fred’s hometown is Keosauqua, Iowa and was afforded the opportunity to live around the world from Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain and numerous Naval Bases in the United States. He moved to Lake Ozark in 2000 and to Osage Beach in 2007.
Fred’s family includes his son, Paul and his wife Rachel who reside in San Antonio, Texas and a sister Julie Short who also lives at the lake.
